Peter Dann have been employed by Legal and General Modular Homes to assist with further development of their existing volumetric modular system. We were tasked with improving various aspects of the system to increase factory and site efficiency and reduce costs, whilst retaining certain aspects of the existing modules established previously and for which existing factory processes are in place.
We have reviewed the system in detail and, working in close collaboration with LGMH and a full design team, have successfully made beneficial changes to the main module framing, connection details, and transport/lifting methodologies.

We have also checked and adapted the system for use in buildings with varying footprints, and are working with LGMH on various site-specific projects, not only checking the modular system for suitability but also designing the substructure and non-modular elements of the buildings such as corridors, cores and roofs.
