The new rooftop bar extension for the The Imperial in Russell Square has officially reached its full height, and the final cladding is being installed.
The hotel is on track to reopen in Summer 2026 after an extensive refurbishment, for which Peter Dann has delivered the structural design. Alongside the rooftop extension, the project includes a major new plantroom structure, a new internal mezzanine floor, and the installation of several new stairs and lifts—marking a significant upgrade throughout the building.
