Peter Dann were part of the design team for this premier property in London – a high end residential development in Knightsbridge.
The project involved the complete reconstruction of all four floors, as well as both front and back façades, to create the modern family unit within the existing terrace originally constructed in the early to mid 19th century.
A basement construction beneath the existing lower ground floor level allowed for a new cinema room, bar and entertainment area to be included in the redesign of the property.
The sub-basement level required underpinning of existing foundations, lowering of the lower-ground floor construction, new sub-basement floor slab and provision of a watertight enclosure.
The addition of a vertical extension to the rear projection created a new lower-ground, raised ground, first floor and second floor areas.
