Exterior of Unit 330 Cambridge Science Park

330 Cambridge Science Park

Following the successful refurbishment project we delivered at unit 306, we were appointed to a very similar project at unit 330 at the Cambridge Science Park. The owner, Trinity College, with the assistance of Bidwells, wished to modernise and refurbish the building to provide a modern office environment with the option to sub-divide the space to suit multiple tenants.

The remodelling saw the canopy removed and replaced with a feature entrance with large aspect glazing and aluminium cladding. Internally, the bathroom facilities were brought into a central core with distribution being brought into the new feature entrance space, altogether the changes saw an approximate increase of 325m2.

The building was originally designed for single occupancy and comprised a ground and first floor with circa 2,800m2 split over two floors. The original layout supplied two separate bathroom facilities at the rear of the building with circulation within the central portion. The entrance was very traditional providing a long approach covered entrance canopy with a feature fin at roof level.
