Members of Peter Dann enjoyed back-to-back social events last week, attending the CFCI Chair’s Garden Party on Wednesday followed by the COEL charity cricket match on Thursday.
Alan, Jack and Ian enjoyed the green gardens of Sidney Sussex College, catching up with familiar faces including Richard Brent, Managing Director at COEL, on the evening before COEL’s fourth charity cricket match.
Carter Jonas and COEL raised funds for the Phoenix Trust, Arthur Rank Hospice Charity and CamSight on Fenners cricket ground under a hot sun with a lively crowd and plenty of cold beer.
Ian, Shoaib, Alan, John and Matt all enjoyed the match, with the bonus of hearing guest speaker, ex-England cricketer Phillip Defreitas, rally the crowds, providing a Q&A and bowling an over.
There was also an afterparty at The Gonville Hotel hosted by COEL with live music which Ian and Alan attended.
Thanks to both hosts for a memorable week of networking, sport and entertainment.
