It’s been a pleasure to support such a renowned and important charity as the Magpas Air Ambulance. Their work is literally life-saving and it’s been immensely rewarding to be part of the design and construction team delivering this new facility for them.
Peter Dann provided civil and structural engineering support from inception of the project through to completion which then saw the new purpose-built airbase, headquarters and training centre opened by HRH The Princess Royal.
The new headquarters houses a state-of-the-art training centre to train the next generation of pre-hospital emergency doctors and paramedics, and has been built with a strong focus on renewable energy. The new building will provide Magpas with a fantastic purpose-built base from which the service can carry out its vitally important work.
