Peter Dann were part of the design team delivering these two adjoining Victorian properties on Albert Bridge Road, overlooking the iconic Battersea Park. Originally built circa 1890, the properties had fallen into disrepair. In addition to restoring them to their former splendour, we delivered substructure works involving the construction of single level basements beneath both properties.
The superstructure works involved the full reconfiguration and refurbishment throughout, the construction of two-storey rear extensions and conversion of the existing attic levels to extend the living spaces. The development will incorporate a modern specification while maintaining the original features. We provided structural design and detailing for the entire development.
The pinnacle of the development is the new basements, constructed across the full footprint of both plots, substantially increasing the floor space.
