Ian is Director for the Cambridge Office. He joined us in 1983 as a trainee technician, progressing to Associate in 2005, then to Technical Director before moving to Director in 2017.
Ian has experience in all the major construction sectors, but in particular has developed a specialism within the industrial and food sectors in which he undertakes a wide range of projects. He is often involved in projects with a broader remit requiring input such as site master planning, drainage and highway engineering, planning applications, project management and cost consultancy.
Ian acts as Project Director and takes overall responsibility for delivery of our services. Although projects are run on a day to day basis by an associate, Ian will take a particular interest in the early stages whilst the overall concept and structural strategy is being developed.
