We are delighted to announce that Cottenham Village Hall near Cambrige has been shortlisted for the Greater Cambridge Design & Construction Awards for which Peter Dann Ltd provided full structural and civil engineering services.
Completed in 2021, the hall was designed to replace the existing, run-down building with a modern, versatile and sustainable facility. The aim was clear: to create a welcoming central hub that would support a wide range of activities and serve the growing needs of the community for years to come.
This project followed the successful completion of the sports pavilion at the same recreation ground, further strengthening the site as a key destination for local events, sports, and social gatherings. We were proud to deliver the full structural and civil engineering design for this important community development, working closely alongside the architects at Wilby & Burnett, Cambridge van Leyden as mechanical and electrical consultants, and SEH French as main contractor.
The shortlisting of the project is a testament to the collaborative effort, technical expertise, and shared commitment that went into delivering it.
