Dutch’s Corner on Mill Road, Cambridge, is home to a smart new residential development.
The site was once a family-run motor dealership and petrol station before being redeveloped into the Cambridge Bed Centre. The corner has now returned to familial roots with three floors of high-quality mixed apartments, and a small commercial unit on the ground floor surrounded by six apartments.
Peter Dann were involved from conceptual design stage through to the detailed design stage with Novation to the main contractor. The project necessitated structural design and analysis for several different types of construction including reinforced concrete, steel, masonry and timber, with all building structures supported off piled foundations. We also provided the full design of the below ground drainage and external works for the site.
