Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen within our Cambridge office for a talented graduate engineer to join our established and forwarding thinking consultancy. This role provides a great opportunity for a graduate to gain experience, knowledge and expert guidance within this well-structured team. This friendly and knowledgeable environment will give you the skills required to achieve Chartership for which we will provide full support.

The business works on a full range of project sizes, gifting any graduate employee exposure to a full catalogue of work to learn from. This variation, including building structures, civil design and fabrication, will provide a solid base to begin your career within engineering. Our digital ethos towards design and digital engineering, along with experienced staff, will guide a graduate to understand logic and reasoning in the modern digital engineering world.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop engineering solutions with the support of other engineers
  • Production of detailed drawings using Revit, AutoCAD and Bluebeam
  • Pursue professional development
  • Attendance at design team/client meetings and site visits

 

Key Skills:

Must be a civil or structural engineering graduate with at least 2.1 MEng/MSc qualification
Have a passion for engineering and the built environment
Be ambitious and seek a career in an engineering consultancy
Be willing to also work from our London office on occasion
Have a good standard of written & verbal communication skills
Have excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
Be conscientious and have the flexibility to rise to a challenge
