The annual Gingerbread City exhibition is back and we have baked another entry. Organised by the Museum of Architecture, the exhibition features a city made of gingerbread produced by architects, designers, and engineers, and aims to connect the public with architecture.
This year’s theme is Nature in the City and Re-wilding. Our plot, Candy Cane Café, is a community-run café built using giant gingerbread candy canes, around which the café grows their own produce. This has helped regenerate the local area into a greener environment and seen the return of wildlife, including Peter the Plesiosaur and Dann the Diplodocus!
The exhibition is on until 9th January 2022 at 6-7 Motcomb Street in Belgravia, London. Further details and tickets are available from www.thegingerbreadcity.com
