Job Description:

Peter Dann are recruiting for a Structural Revit Technician. Candidates should have a minimum of 3+ years’ technical experience and be familiar working with all major construction materials (steel, concrete, masonry and timber). The right candidate should feel comfortable working with other technicians and engineers, as well as independently. The successful candidate will be required to detail projects using company standards from concept to construction and develop project details in Revit Structures. The candidate may be on a day release learning course which we would happily facilitate as well as any future professional development they may wish to work towards. Civils/drainage experience would also be beneficial.

Key Skills:

3+ years’ experience working with Revit Structure.
Ability to work on projects of various sizes from small domestic buildings to multi-storey commercial developments.
Experience in a range of different projects across all key sectors.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience in the use of Microsoft suite, word, excel etc.
A keen learner who has interest in becoming more knowledgeable in the software used to deliver projects as well as the understanding of construction methodologies.
Knowledge and experience of working in a BIM environment.
Familiarity with PAS1192 and ISO1950 and the use of Common Data Environments (CDE’s).
Beneficial skills, but not essential - use of Dynamo, family creation, use of Navisworks or other model comparison software, familiar with AutoCad.
